Beloved, hear this truth: God is not marking you by your effort, your struggles, or your past—His marking scheme is a Person, and that Person is Jesus Christ.
In the Old Covenant, the Law set the standard, but no man could fully meet it. The Law revealed what God required, but it could not produce it in us. Then came Christ—not just to teach the standard, but to be the standard.
He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” God no longer measures you by rules—He measures you by His Son.
Now listen: God is not asking, “How perfect are you?” He is asking, “Are you in Christ?”
Because in Philippians 3:9, we see that righteousness is not of ourselves, but through faith in Him. That means your qualification is not your performance—it is your position in Christ.
Jesus lived the life you could not live. He fulfilled every requirement, obeyed every command, and pleased the Father completely. So when God looks at you, He is not marking your weaknesses—He is looking for Christ. Christ is your answer sheet, and Christ is your perfect score.
The Bible says in Ephesians 1:6 that we are accepted in the Beloved. That means your acceptance is not something you earn—it is something you receive by being in Him. You are not trying to pass—you are standing in the One who has already passed.
So what does this mean for you?
You don’t strive to be accepted—you are accepted in Christ.
You don’t work to meet the standard—Christ is your standard.
You don’t live for approval—you live from approval.
