Now, it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Luke 24:30
The two disciples invited Jesus to their home as their guest. Yet, they allowed Jesus to break the bread and blessed it for them.
They relinquished their authority over their space to Jesus. Inviting Jesus into our space isn’t enough. We ought to give control and lordship of our space to Him.
When we give Jesus control we allow Him to bless what we have. He would bless our water and bread and cause everything within our space to be blessed.
Moreover, our eyes would be opened to see Him and know Him even more.
Our intimacy with Jesus grows when we relinquish control of our space to Him.
When we give Jesus our space, He blesses what we have. Shalom.
